Aubeterre sur Donne- approximately 20kms, 20 minutes

Sunday Market – Every Sunday 9am until 1pm
 Very small market in the village square selling local produce including cheese, foie gras, duck pate, wine, cognac & pineau. Aubeterre is a very picturesque historic village with lots to see. In summer the local artisan’s shops also stay open Sunday morning. The small square has a number of cafe’s/ restaurants.

Riberac – approximately 30kms, 35/40 minutes

Traditional Street Market- Every Friday 9am to 1pm
Large traditional street market in Riberac town square near the river. Wide range of fresh produce & regional specialties including cheese, cold meats, olives, fresh fish, seafood, Foie Gras & wine. Excellent place for leather goods, gifts, pottery & china. Lots of Cafes and restaurants near square.
(This is a very popular market and you will need to get there early to find a place to park.)

Libourne shopping centre
Libourne has a wide range of shops in its pedestrianised streets plus a large market square with some lovely architecture. There are many bars, restaurants and cafes.
In addition there is a large out of town shopping centre with a Carrefour, Boulanger (electrical goods) and Intersport. There is also a Chinese, a Japanese and Thai restaurant on site all with set lunch or a la carte.
