La Maison Grange Pool
Welcome to La Maison Grange website where you can find out about all our three gites and what’s available in this beautiful corner of France.
On the other hand, La Maison Grange is equidistant between Bordeaux and Cognac and is perfectly placed to enjoy and explore at leisure the world famous wines and cognac found close by. Heading 30 minutes south from La Maison Grange, you reach the famous wine region of Pomerol. A little further and you’ll be in St. Emilion, the Libournais appellations, or Cotes-de-Bourg. Less than 60 minutes and you’ll be in the centre of Bordeaux. This beautiful city contains all the high street names along with the more exclusive designers and is full of interesting architecture and history. Head north west from La Maison Grange, in less than 60 minutes you’ll be in the home of Grande Champagne cognac – Segonzac or Jarnac. Cognac itself is home to over 20 different cognac producing houses most of which are open to visitors.
Should you decide to spend some time with us you can certainly enjoy a very relaxing, chilled time in a very beautiful part of France. If you’re simply looking to unwind and find that inner peace and quiet you can relax by our pool and soak up the beautiful sunshine. The complex is just south of Parcoul on the border of four of Frances most beautiful and rural departments, Dordogne and Gironde in Aquitaine and Charente and Charente-Maritime in Poitou-Charente.
We have three Gites, that, along with the main property, form part of a converted 19th century barn, where many of the original features remain. Within the grounds is a 14×6 meter outdoor saltwater swimming pool for our guests to relax by and enjoy. It catches the sun from early morning right throughout the day until the spectacular sunsets. We have a Summer House which is equiped with table football, a full size pool table for the over 12′s, a well stocked library, a table tennis table, badminton sets, as well as a large variety of board games. Internet connection is available in the library plus there is wi-fi available in each gite.
The 3-bedroom gites Renoir and Matisse will sleep 6 comfortably and are next to each other at the rear of the building overlooking the rear gardens and valleys. The 2-bedroom gite Van Gogh will sleep 4 comfortably and is set on the side of the building overlooking a delightful cottage garden and wishing well. All our gites come with fully equiped kitchens, comfy lounges, spacious dining areas, comfortable bedrooms and power shower rooms. You can find the full specifications on the individual web pages.
